Sailing Yacht "HANSEAT IV" - General Information

Deck joinery and Equipment:
The foredeck, side and aft decks, pilothouse and cockpit floors and aft bridge deck are covered with teak planking of 15 mm thickness. The teak wood origins from Burma.
A varnished teak caprail goes around the yacht, the lower superstructure and the cockpit coamings.
The cockpit is fitted with a table to sit 8 persons for outside dining. A fridge with front loading is integrated in the table stand, which is paneled with raised and fielded teak panels. Seating is teak laid and provided with seat and backrest cushions.
A small cockpit pantry with washbasin, water tab and stowage space is installed on stb- side.
Noise and Vibration:
There is literally no noticeable Vibration on the yacht in any mode of operation.
Noise levels at 1900 revs (cruising speed) are around 55 db and about 52db on the upper and lower saloon with the large capacity Generator running.
Galley Equipment:
The equipment comprises:
 Ceramic 4 burner stove top, gimbaled, Miele
 Oven with grill, hot air, top and bottom heat, Miele
 Extractor fan, Miele
 Dishwasher, Miele
 Washing Machine, Miele
 Condenser Dryer, Miele
2 Refrigerators, custom made in stainless steel, front loaded, appropriately divided and
1 Refrigerator, custom made in stainless steel, incorporated in the cockpit table and
1 Freezer, custom made in stainless steel, front loaded, divided with slide out drawers.
1 Icemaker, 220 V AC, self-contained.
All refrigerators and the Freezer (except the Icemaker) are operated by 6 Frigomatic K DC compressors. If one or more or these Compressors fail, the remaining can continue to operate the refrigeration / freezing system according to their remaining capacity.
Painting System:
The whole painting system has been chosen from a single supplier, i.e. Awlgrip, 2 paint system, flagblue Topsides, white Antifouling, white superstructure, red waterlines and gold cove line.
Underwater Illumination:
Just behind the Rudder about 1 foot under waterline two very strong Underwater lights (one on each side) have been installed. The lights are switchable from the port helm station.
General Equipment:
One Zodiac Projet 350 Dinghy, 82 HP, 50 kn, capacity 4 persons including Carbon derrick, completely rigged for ease of stowage/launching. For in/deflating a strong 220V Airpump is onboard, which enables the inflation of the Dinghy in about 2,5 minutes. Another Dinghy Zodiac C240 is onboard as a workboat.
A Swimming Ladder made of stainless steel and teak steps is stowed in the lazarette.
The Workshop is located in the most forward compartment of the yacht and is fully fitted with all the tools and nuts and bolts, spare electrical and plumbing items, as is required on a yacht this size. All tools are in dedicated positions, so are the spares, for the ease of finding the required tool/spare.
The yacht is further fitted with complete set of Vileroy and Boch China ware and WMF cutlery.
Linen and Towels, table covers, matching Napkins, decorative items, Oil on Canvas paintings, painting lights and the various other items needed for a comfortable stay are obviously onboard.
